The limitation of language
I believe relationships would be easier to build if we could truly comprehend the perspective of another and understand the motivation behind it. To engage in, and succeed in a conversation where both parties are as close to mutual understanding as possible, firm definitions of words must be clarified in advance. The way in which a receiver will hear and form a level of understanding of xxx piece of information is dependant on, not only a multitude of emotional factors involved but sometimes as simple as a person understands a word to have a different meaning. For this reason, I find language one enormous frustration for me, it is so limiting, and this, for me is just English. Mistranslation is a whole very large other conversation. One of the biggest lessons for me has been born out of sheer frustration before, during and after discussions with others.
